Systems and regulation top brokers' 2011 concerns

Improving systems and regulation are the issues that concern brokers and underwriters most for 2011, according to insurance software specialist Sequel.

Sequel commissioned a study by an independent third party using a representative sample drawn from Sequel's Lloyd's companies and international insurance/reinsurance sector customer base.

When asked about the issues that concerned them most for 2011, insurance professionals responded, in order of importance, as follows: enhancing systems, regulation, the state of the economy, London market initiatives, expansion and business efficiency.
