Liberty pushes into UK mid corporate market

Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe (LMIE), is set to expand its presence in the mid to large UK SME sector.

The company, a member of Liberty Mutual Group, said it had been building its infrastructure in the sector and recruiting key personnel over the past year with the aim to become a recognised and credible alternative to existing commercial carriers.

As well as London and Dublin, LMIE already has offices in Bristol, Cheltenham and Manchester. In the next two months, the insurer said there were planned openings in the Midlands and the South East.
