Plum hires in bid to fuel further growth

Plum Underwriting has hired two new underwriters to handle its rapid growth in the non-standard household market.

In February, Plum announced sales had increased 54% year on year and has predicted it will repeat that level of growth in the next 12 months.

Loren Mason has joined Plum with immediate effect, bringing 10 years’ experience to the role. Ms Mason has previously written non-standard household insurance via the broker market at Prestige Underwriting and wholesaler Abacus before that.
