Allianz Commercial has teamed up with fellow Allianz Group member, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), to launch a Professional Indemnity (PI) solution to the UK provincial broker market.

AGCS first moved into the PI sector in 2009 focusing on the London market and the insurer said it was now ready to roll out the offering to the regions. Following a successful pilot, the product is now available to brokers and their clients via Allianz's 14 regional branch locations.

The offering has been designed to provide PI cover for a range of occupations with UK exposures including accountants, architects, engineers, and professionals in emerging sectors such as media and technology.
