Aviva loses JLT recruitment book to Brit

Long-term prospects are now front of mind for accountants

Brit Insurance has won JLT’s book of business for the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) from Aviva.

JLT is one of three appointed brokers for the REC - the representative body for the UK's £19.7bn private recruitment and staffing industry with a membership of more than 3,600 corporate members (with more than 8,000 branches).

A spokeswoman for JLT said: "After many years of partnering with Aviva, 'This Recruitment' decided to switch to Brit to offer improved coverage and terms to REC members. We deal with REC members both on a direct and wholesale basis and it was judged that the move to Brit
