Barbican and Glemham part ways

Fund-of-funds strategies go separate ways

Barbican Insurance Group has confirmed it is to cease providing underwriting capacity to Glemham Underwriting.

In a joint statement to Insurance Age the firms said: "Following a thorough review of underwriting strategy Barbican Underwriting is seeking to rebalance its account more towards the open market, and at the same time Glemham has determined that the relationship with Barbican Syndicate 1955 has run its natural course.
