Universal Provident pulls away from Great Lakes
Universal Provident has announced that it is to bring a majority of the underwriting for its product range in–house and sister company Personal Assurance will now act as the insurer.
Personal Assurance takes over the role from Great Lakes, part of Munich Re, which will still be involved as reinsurer. Existing business will move across to Personal Assurance as it renews.
The products affected are the Choices private medical insurance (PMI) range along with the other PMI plans still available for existing customers, DentalCare, LivingCare which deals with long-term disability and IncomeCare for income protection.
