ABI sets out the top five motor insurance priorities
The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has highlighted the need to reduce young driver deaths and serious injuries as one of the five key priorities for the industry.
The trade body listed the other priorities for motor insurers as: tackling the rising costs of whiplash, compensation reform, fraud and uninsured driving.
Speaking at the association's motor conference, Otto Thoresen, director general of the ABI, said: "As a nation of car users with some of the busiest roads in the world, insurers are committed to providing the best possible deal for motorists."
