Towergate loses Your Insurance MD
The managing director of one of Towergate’s subsidiary companies has resigned.
Robert Rees, who headed up commercial insurance provider Your Insurance, has left the business to “pursue new opportunities” a Towergate spokeswoman told Insurance Age.
He is understood to be joining a rival consolidator.
He has been replaced by Steve Anson, formerly sales director of Riskline Oxted.
Mr Rees was a key player in Towergate's SME comparison site offering and was closely involved in the recent Confused.com deal.
Towergate would offer no further comment.

FSCS gives first insight on increasing levy to £394m
