Ex-Powerplace director joins Perkins Slade

Perkins Slade has named former Powerplace sales and marketing director, Darren Rowe, as managing director for corporate business.

In December Insurance Age revealed that Mr Rowe had been placed on gardening leave by the Towergate-owned operation.

He brings more than 20 years' experience in the insurance industry to his new role and will take board responsibility for Perkins Slade's corporate and credit divisions.

The move is the latest in a line of directorships recently announced by the Birmingham-based broker. Julia Harrop is now client service director; Mark Ford broking director and Aslam Ismail is in the role of
