RSA commercial chief threatens to exit unprofitable markets
RSA’s commercial chief has confirmed that he will pull out from product lines that are not working for the insurer as he continues his revamp of RSA’s commercial book.
The news follows the culling of around 200 broker agencies as the insurer aims to focus on a narrower band of brokers.
John Hancock, head of commercial lines at RSA told Insurance Age that he had identified the lines of business that he believes are not working and has stated that he will not be scared to pull out of these areas, and quickly.
