Industry bosses accused of not caring for staff
The British Heart Foundation has published a damning report on the level of importance the insurance industry places on employee health.
The new survey found that almost half (47%) of employees in the insurance industry thought their bosses didn’t care about workplace health, with more than two thirds (64%) claiming their workplace didn’t offer any opportunities to get fit and healthy.
In addition, over a quarter (27%) of insurance workers rated their daily stress levels as five out of ten or above, with respondents reporting that stress from work spilled over into their home life and free time.
