Mondial re-brands as it heads into health market

Mondial Assistance UK has announced that it will rebrand to Allianz Global Assistance in October this year as it embarks on a new foray into the health sector.

As part of this strategy, the company has appointed Phil Carr, who has joined from parent company Allianz Insurance, to the position of head of Health Services.

He will be tasked with driving the insurer’s new healthcare range with the first product being a homecare offering called Insured Personal Care at Home.

The new healthcare range will supplement the insurer’s existing travel and motor lines.
