Steve McGill steps up to group president role at Aon

Steve McGill has been appointed group president at Aon in conjunction with his current roles as chairman and chief executive officer of Aon Risk Solutions.

Mr McGill will oversee the development of the broker's growth strategy and opportunity planning, primarily focused on the firm's Risk Solutions segment encompassing Aon Risk Solutions and Aon Benfield.

He will continue to report to Greg Case, president and chief executive officer of Aon.

"Steve is an exceptional leader for our firm," said Mr Case. "His leadership has been instrumental in developing our teams and building Aon Risk Solutions into the preeminent risk management and insurance
