ebroking 2012: Brokers urged to embrace digital platforms
E-trading could be a means of stealing a march on the competition and overcoming the challenging economic climate, delegates at the E-broking 2012 event, hosted by Insurance Age, have heard.
Speaking at the conference, Andy Heap, managing director of Digital Reach, said brokers still needed to be more “entrepreneurial” and embrace the digital trading world.
He explained: “There’s a common view there’s little growth, certainly in the short term.
“There’s a lot of headlines about people wanting to grow, especially among SMEs, but where does that growth come from?
