Aviva slashes senior management following review
Aviva has made dozens of senior managers redundant in a company-wide restructure, according to reports.
The Sunday Times reported that John McFarlane, who took on the role of executive chairman when Andrew Moss was forced to resign due to a shareholder revolt, had carried out a radical review of the insurer.
Following this review, Mr McFarlane is reported to have stripped out four layers of management at Aviva’s London headquarters.
