Markel strengthens professional liability team
Markel International has appointed Les Telford as senior underwriter for UK and international professional indemnity in the professional liability division.
Mr Telford joins from Brit Insurance, and has previously worked at Aon, PYV and HSBC.
He has more than 30 years’ experience in insurance and will report to Andy Palmer, senior underwriter within the professional liability division.
David Armes, managing director of the professional liability division, said: “We are delighted that Les has joined Markel and we look forward to expanding our professional indemnity business in the UK and overseas.”
