Markel UK in PL broker e-trading launch
Specialist insurer Markel UK has launched its first UK personal lines product on its broker e-trading system.
The offering - designed specifically for private collectors - will provide coverage for a range of art and collectables.
Markel said it will offer full theft cover, even when the perpetrator is legally on the premises, such as a contractor or cleaner. The product will also provide up to 90 consecutive days cover in the UK for storage, transit, exhibition, loan of artworks and auction attendance.
