Professionalism: McManus backed on chartered label
Brendan McManus’ comment that just “slapping on” the chartered label was not enough has been backed in Insurance Age’s professionalism debate.
Mr McManus, chief executive of Giles, previously told an audience at Biba Scotland that 75% of creating a professional ethic in a broking firm was down to leaders acting as role models.
Stuart Cliffe responded to the debate saying that he totally agreed.
"..the issue is down to the people who lead the business, regardless of any qualification it may own," he wrote.
