UK General unveils Layton Blackham founder as non-exec director
UK General has appointed the founder of consolidator Layton Blackham as a non-executive director.
Chris Blackham - who was also chairman and joint CEO of Venture Preference which later became Bluefin - assumed his role at the beginning of December.
Speaking about Mr Blackham's arrival, Peter Hubbard, group chief executive, said: "Chris knows everyone in the industry - he has a wealth of experience and understanding of the insurance market, and I am delighted that he is joining our board.
