Profits up at Jelf
Jelf has revealed an increase in insurance profits to £5.9m for the year ended 30 September 2012 from £4.9m in 2011.
The rise came as revenues also rose to £46.1m (2011: £44.8m) with new business up by 3.2%.
Jelf's network The Purple Partnership also saw revenues increase by 18.3% to £0.7m.
Across the group revenues were up slightly less to £73m (2011: £72.1m) as profit - defined as Ebitda before exceptional items - jumped by 11.6% to £11.3m.
The overall net cash position of the company came in at £2.8m reversing a net debt of £3m in 2011.
