UK General in Chinese restaurant schemes tie-up

UK General has signed a schemes agreement with Sunderland-based broker Newton Lee to cover the Chinese restaurant and takeaway sector.

According to Gary O’Brien, director of group marketing at the Leeds-based provider, said the bespoke scheme was developed by building on an existing scheme for Bangladeshi restaurant owners.

The new product is white-labelled, and offers a dual language policy wording as well as flexible pricing via net rating and commission.
