RSA to open trading sites in Leicester and Edinburgh

RSA has confirmed it will open two trading sites this year in Edinburgh and Leicester in a move designed to build on its strategy of operating regionally.

The insurer today announced a mixed bag of UK results in which its commercial combined operating ratio deteriorated to 100.4% as it posted a commercial underwriting loss of £31m. 

However, the provider has also confirmed the two regional openings and admitted it would continue to grow its regional footprint with the opening of more trading sites next year.
