Steve White appointed new chief executive of Biba
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (Biba) has appointed Steve White, currently head of compliance and training at the trade body, to the post of chief executive.
Mr White will take up the post on 1 May 2013.
He originally joined Biba in 2004 and has spent over 35 years in the insurance industry, previously working at the Guardian Royal Exchange Group, the General Insurance Standards Council and the Financial Services Authority.
He replaces Eric Galbraith whose resignation was announced in October last year.
At the same time as the handover Graeme Trudgill, Biba's head of corporate affairs, will also be promoted to the main board of Biba.
