Towergate reveals national broking restructure
Towergate has moved from a six to a five-region structure, Insurance Age can reveal, as another regional managing director is set to depart.
Mike Lawton, chief executive of Towergate's broking division, told Insurance Age that the move to merge the Central and Midlands regions was happening "with immediate effect".
The newly formed area will be led by Joe Thelwell, previously MD of the Central region.
"Joe is a brilliant guy," stated Mr Lawton. "He is a dynamic, fast-paced and clever regional managing director."
Departure
The development has followed less than two months after Insurance Age revealed the departure of regional MD Paul
