Evolution promotes Upton to group CEO role

Evolution Group has promoted Paul Upton to the role of group chief executive officer (CEO), as a part of a string of internal moves.

Mr Upton - who was previously Evolution Underwriting CEO - has been with Evolution since its formation. 

And Evolution Group chairman, Terry Wheatley, said: "Paul Upton... is well known as the face of Evolution in the media and the wider insurance community.

"In a number of areas Paul has been carrying out many of the duties associated with this role for some time and his promotion recognises those contributions and capabilities."
