Ace looks to build on casualty "cornerstone" with Scotland promotion

Ace Group has promoted Gordon Knox to the role of casualty manager, Scotland, as the insurer looks to boost the "cornerstone" of its business north of the border.

Mr Knox, who joined Ace in 2007 after having worked in AIG's casualty team, has been promoted from the role of senior casualty underwriter. 

Ace's regional manager for Scotland, Andy Macfarlane, said: "Our Scotland operations continue to flourish. The past year has seen a number of new appointments, product enhancements and the opening of a new and growing office in Aberdeen.
