Towergate confirms North Lincolnshire broker captures

Towergate Insurance has swooped for two brokers in North Lincolnshire in a bid to expand its broking footprint in the region.

Towergate confirmed it had bought Youngs Insurance Brokers and Murray Burns & Co, and plans to merge them, creating Youngs Murray Burns.

Youngs, established in 1963, is based in Grimby while Murray Burns, founded in 1981, is located in Cleethorpes. Towergate confirmed that a combined workforce of 12 will now work from the Grimsby office under David King, Murray Burns owner.
