NIG e-trading director Thornton to leave in October
NIG's e-trading director Ben Thornton will leave in October, it has been confirmed.
Direct Line revealed that Thornton, who had been with the provider's broker-only business for four years, will leave the insurer after having been at the group for a total of seven years.
It is unknown who will replace Thornton and it has not been confirmed what his next move in the market will be.
He has been NIG's e-trading director for just over a year, during which time he has become recognised as a significant spokesperson about online trading.
He has previously been head of bank business
