Powerplace makes twin regional appointments

PowerPlace has made a double appointment to expand its business development team.

The e-trading specialist has unveiled Steve Lacey and Daniel Sandbrook as regional broker account managers. 

The pair have been charged with managing broker relationships, as well as maintaining existing business and boosting growth.

Lacey previously spent four years as a Jelf account handler while Sandbrook has a sales and management background in retail.

And PowerPlace CEO Nick Giddings said: "We are thrilled to have Steve and Daniel join the team at what is a very exciting time for PowerPlace

Analysis: Is the era of offshore capacity over, or is it poised for a comeback?

High profile casualties such as Gibraltar-based Enterprise Insurance Company (2016), and Danish providers Alpha (2018) and Gefion (2021) meant offshore capacity came under scrutiny at the end of the last decade.
