Avanti appoints Smith
Avanti Insurance has appointed Julie Smith to the role of business development manager.
The firm, based in Braintree in Essex, confirmed that Smith's remit was to manage its affiliate and partnership relationship accounts.
She has joined from Mapfre and brings almost 30 years of industry experience to the position.
During her career, Smith has been involved in claims, medical assistance, travel sales, account management and business development.
She has previously worked for Axa, Aon and Capita, before creating Travel Claims Services in May 2003.
