IMD II labelled a "low priority"
The Insurance Mediation Directive (IMD) II proposal has been described as a "low priority".
The changes which have been swilling around Europe's corridors of power for a number of years look to have now taken a back seat.
The European Federation of Insurance Intermediaries, known as Bipar, explained in its monthly report: "The IMD II proposal is a low priority for the Lithuanian Presidency.
"IMD II is not likely to be adopted before the end of 2014."
