Bryan James buys Peterborough broker UMH
Deal brings branch total to eight.
Bryan James & Co has acquired UMH Insurance Brokers.
The deal was completed on 1 January and all staff, as well as the firm’s Peterborough premises, have been retained.
John Beeston, managing director at Bryan James, told Insurance Age that the broker was targeted due to its “substantial book of business in the catering field”.
Bryan James has a specialist catering insurance team, with Mandarin and Thai speakers in its Hayes branch, and Beeston commented: “UMH will complement what we do in Hayes
