Devitt appoints Hill as underwriting director
New recruit joins from Equity Red Star.
Devitt Insurance Services has appointed Andrew Hill as underwriting director, joining its senior management team.
Hill was head of underwriting at Equity Red Star where he has worked since 1999.
In his previous role he was responsible for setting the motor insurer's underwriting strategy across each class of business written.
He also established, monitored and reported against financial plans and drove the continuous enhancement of underwriting capabilities through the team of class underwriters
