Allianz targets number one commercial insurer spot

Provider sets five-year objective and reveals it wants to take top five retail position too.

Allianz Insurance is aiming to be the number one commercial insurer in the UK market within the next five years.

Commenting on the provider’s 2013 results, Jon Dye, Allianz CEO, said it had been a “tremendous year for the organisation, we beat our revenue and profit plans”.

“We’ve grown and produced a good level of profit,” he stated. “It’s one of the best sets of results you’re going to see out there on the market.”
