RSA reveals 800 brokers affected by motor cuts

Provider commits to a "sensibly managed handover period".

Around 800 brokers will be affected by RSA's decision to make cuts to its broker personal motor book, according to personal lines intermediated managing director Mark Allan.

Allan told Insurance Age that the 35% reduction in the provider's number of personal motor broker relationships and decision to cut 40 roles across Belfast and Manchester came as the market showed no signs of improving in profitability.
