UK General to cut back on commercial broker agencies

Insurer states having 1,500 broker relationships “isn’t possible” in new strategy.

UK General has confirmed that it will be reducing its number of broker partners in the commercial market as it looks to develop "a more select approach to broker relationships which will deliver an improved, tailored service".

The Leeds-based specialist insurer said it was looking for "common ground" with its key regional, independent brokers and seeking to build long-term partnerships.
