Three convicted for crash for cash scam
Group was involved in 83 collisions.
Three people have been convicted for their involvement in an organised crash for cash scam, the Insurance Fraud Bureau has confirmed.
The group targeted motorists in the hope of causing collisions to profit from fraudulent personal injury claims.
Nasir Mahmood, 32, of Morpeth Close, Aniela Chaudhry, 39, of Alan Place and Bernie Bautista, 43, of Elm Park Road, all based in Reading, were convicted for their roles in seven collisions across the Thames Valley and Metropolitan Police areas and the
