Bennetts partners with Ageas on scooter product
New policy targets users of “twist and go” scooters.
Bennetts has targeted a new segment of the bike market with a scooter insurance product in partnership with Ageas.
The broker will be focusing on 16-19 year olds who have 50cc "twist and go" scooters. According to the firm, around half of all new bikes on the UK's roads are scooters.
It added that 99% of scooters have a "twist and go" automatic transmission where the rider does not have a clutch to change gears.
