Hiscox moves away from care homes
Latest insurer to exit care home market following Ecclesiastical departure last year.
Hiscox has confirmed that it is to exit the care home insurance market in order to focus on other business lines.
A spokeswoman said: "We have confirmed our withdrawal but it does not represent a change in our strategy."
She added that care homes only make up a small element of Hiscox's portfolio.
Exit
The move follows Ecclesiastical's withdrawal from the care home sector in December last year.
