Axa in commercial data deal
Insurer introduces data enrichment tool to commercial lines underwriting following Experian deal.
Axa Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary has teamed up with credit score provider, Experian, to provide data enrichment to its commercial lines offering.
The insurer said that, despite being common in the personal lines market, to date, the use of the data in commercial risks has been limited.
It claimed that deal would enable it to draw on a wide range commercial information and customised claims risk scores to better inform commercial underwriters of a business' risk profile.
