Swinton buys Thompson Insurance
Swinton acquires Sunderland-based broker and confirms more deals in the pipeline.
Swinton has acquired broker Thompson Insurance Consultants, which is based in Sunderland.
The Fulwell located broker's commercial clients have transferred to Swinton Commercial's regional office in Newcastle. The firm's personal lines clients have been taken on by Swinton's Sunderland branch.

The owner of Thompson Insurance Consultants has retired from insurance and his two staff have transferred to Swinton in Sunderland.

FSCS gives first insight on increasing levy to £394m
