Brokers react to sudden departure of Mark Hodges from Towergate
Industry experts flag challenges of integration as CEO leaves.
Brokers have highlighted the challenges of integrating different business as they reacted to the resignation of Mark Hodges' as group CEO of Towergate.
Extremely difficult
Stuart Reid, executive chairman of Bluefin, noted that Hodges was trying to integrate in a short space of time a business that had not done so in 20 years.
"There's a huge integration job that needed to be done at Towergate and it proved to be extremely difficult," said Reid.
