Judge decides the Financial Ombudsman Service was wrong to consider a claim against Bluefin
Bluefin is celebrating a legal victory that could have important ramifications for the insurance industry.
The broker sought a judicial review of the Financial Ombudsman Service's (FOS) decision to adjudicate on a claim brought against the company.
The High Court, however, ruled that the ombudsman has effectively misinterpreted the law and cannot rule on the case.
