JLT named as a broker for 2022 World Cup

The company will be involved in insurance for five stadia at the World Cup in Qatar.

JLT's newsletter - Hard Hat - has reported that the company has been appointed as a general insurance broker for football stadiums and infrastructure at the 2022 football World Cup in Qatar.

The newsletter did not reveal the value of the deal.

The broker has confirmed that it would be dealing with five stadia but declined to give any further comment including on any of the details surrounding the award of the contract by the Arab country's government.
