Zurich promotes Chris Sime to head of sales

Sime will oversee commercial broker and personal lines after being head of broker market for Scotland.

Zurich Insurance has promoted Chris Sime to head of sales for commercial broker and personal lines.

The insurer said the role is slightly new, but that he broadly replaces Stephen McKenna, who in turn has taken on the position of GI head of broker management.

Sime joined Zurich in 2013 as head of broker market for Scotland and prior to that he worked at RSA for 25 years.

His new role involves work across the UK and he will report to Roy Standish, market management director for commercial broker
