Enterprise targets Service Company customers

Insurer looking to snap up motor trade and taxi cover accounts.

Enterprise, the Gibraltar-based insurer, is aiming for £15m to £20m of new business in the taxi and motor trade arena following the closure of Service Company Insurance's £100m book.

Non-executive director at Enterprise, Jonathan Evans, told Insurance Age that the company has been in discussion with Service's brokers for "a bit of time" but was waiting for the right moment to reveal its interest in the market.
