Aviva's Tulloch appointed to Pool Re

Insurer's UK and Ireland CEO takes on non-executive director role at Pool Re.

Pool Re has announced the appointment of Maurice Tulloch as non-executive director with immediate effect.

Pool Re said he brings over two decades of management experience in the insurance industry to his new role.

Tulloch was appointed chief executive officer of Aviva's UK and Ireland general insurance business in October 2013 and has been a member of the group's executive committee since July 2012.

In July 2014, he was also appointed as chairman of Global General Insurance.
