Aviva net written premium up to £855m
Q1 results show net written premium grows 1% to £855m.
Aviva's results for quarter 1 of 2015 showed that net written premium in its UK general insurance division grew 1% to £855m (2014: £845m).
It also reported an improved combined operating ratio (COR) across its GI business from 97.7% in Q1 last year to 96.4%.
However, the UK COR did not improve as dramatically falling from 98.6% this time last year to 98.3%.
It's total GI and health premiums were up 2% to £2.23bn but down 2% in reported currency.
