FCA hires Sicsic as general insurance retail department head

Aviva group risk director Sicsic to leave the insurer and step down as chairman of Oric International.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has appointed Michael Sicsic as head of department, general insurance retail sector.

Sicsic will be leaving his role as group risk director of Aviva on August 31, as well as stepping down from his position as chairman of the board at Oric International to take on his new responsibilities at the regulator.
